FoodWise Industries LLC is an Emirati company based in Abu Dhabi, dedicated to transforming waste into sustainable value for the UAE’s food and agriculture sectors. We are the developers and operators of an advanced rendering technology that converts animal by-products and organic waste into high-value proteins and oils for feed, aquaculture, and sustainable food systems.
We are currently in the process of establishing the first Rendering Factory of its kind in Abu Dhabi, expanding our footprint in the region alongside our existing operations.

Our objective is to support and accelerate the UAE’s Circular Economy Policy 2021–2031, Net Zero 2050, and national food security goals by turning waste streams into valuable, market-ready resources.
 

With deep expertise and technical know-how, FoodWise Industries is uniquely positioned to scale into future waste-to-value technologies. Our roadmap includes developing facilities that provide full separation of organic and non-organic materials, ensuring that every component of the waste stream is recovered and repurposed. Even remaining organic fractions can be used as Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae feed, enabling a fully circular approach.

BSF larvae offer one of the world’s most sustainable protein sources, containing up to 60% protein, up to 35% lipids, and an amino acid profile comparable to fishmeal. They are capable of growing 8,000 times their protein weight, and their use as feed ingredients is certified by the European Union. This positions FoodWise to play a future role in insect-based protein production, diversifying the UAE’s sustainable feed industry.
